Feature race nominations in Sydney are entered well in advance of the actual race and Horse Racing Info will provide early nominations for any of the major races in Sydney as they become available.
The 2011 Sydney spring racing carnival features three major days of racing in Sydney during the months of August through to October.
Rosehill hosts the only $1,000,000 race of the Sydney carnival when three-year-olds go around in the Group 1 Golden Rose over 1400 metres in September at set weights.
Randwick holds two premier days of racing during the spring with the Group 1 George Main Stakes over 1600 metres the first big race in late September at weight-for-age, while a couple of weeks later he Group 1 Epsom Handicap over 1600 metres headlines a huge day of racing on the final day of the carnival.
Epsom Handicap Day features four Group 1 races and is the most highly anticipated race day of the 2011 Sydney spring racing carnival in New South Wales.
