Hobart race track is located in the suburb of Glenorchy in Tasmania and is named Tattersall's Park. Racing at Hobart is operated by the Tasmanian Racing Club and the racecourse is also referred to as Elwick.

Tasmania does not host any Group 1 or Group 2 events and all feature races are Group 3 only.

Hobart hosts it major carnival each year in February with the main races being the Gr3 Hobart Cup which is an open handicap and the Gr3 Bow Mistress Stakes for Fillies & Mares.
