The Lord Reims Stakes is a Group 3 open handicap race held annually in late February early March at Morphettville racecourse in Adelaide, South Australia during the Adelaide autumn racing carnival. The race is run over a distance of 2600 metres and run under set weight & penalty conditions with prizemoney of $115,000. The 2011 Lord Reims Stakes was won by Guyno from Maunatrice with Lady Avacan third.
The first three horses that place in this event all qualify for a run in the Gr2 Adelaide Cup on Monday week at the same track.

The Lord Reims Stakes is named after former tough stayer Lord Reims and is the first group race of the autumn racing carnival in Adelaide and provides the ideal lead up race to the upcoming Adelaide Cup over 3200m on the Labour Day holiday. Apache King (2001) was the last horse to win both races in the same year.
This race will typically assemble a field of predominantly handy local stayers with Adelaide Cup aspiritions and in recent years Lacey Underall (4th in 2008) ran fourth in this race and then went to win the Cup next start, while Capecover (3rd in 2010) managed to win the Adelaide Cup following a third placing in this event.
Guyno (2011) won the Mornington Cup over 2400m in Victoria on his way to winning this event and recent Lord Reims Stakes winners have been Moment in Time (2010) and Miss Pavlova (2009).
