The Blue Diamond Prelude Fillies is a Group 3 race for two-year-old fillies that is held in early February each year at Caulfield racecourse in Melbourne during the the Melbourne autumn racing carnival. The race is run under set weights and penalty conditions over a distance of 1100 metres and is worth $125,000 in prizemoney. The 2011 Blue Diamond Prelude Fillies was won by One Last Dance from Glissade with Hallowell Belle third.

The fillies Prelude takes place on Gr1 C.F. Orr Stakes day, the second biggest race day of the Melbourne Racing Club, after Gr1 Blue Diamond Stakes day, and is the female eqivalent of the Gr3 Blue Diamond Prelude (C&G) for colts & geldings.

The Blue Diamond Prelude Fillies is an 1100 race for two-year-old fillies only that serves as the ideal lead-up race for those fillies who might be good enough to tackle the males in the upcoming Gr1 Blue Diamond Stakes at the same track in a fortnight.

Classy female gallopers such as Rostova (2009), Alinghi (2004), Halibery (2003) and Courtza (1999) have all won this event and the level weights playing field lends itself to the classier fillies entered for the race.

The Fillies Prelude is held on the same day as the male version of the race, which is the Blue Diamond Prelude - C&G, and Alinghi (2004) was the last filly to win this race and then take out the Blue Diamond Stakes.

One Last Dance (2011) won the listed Blue Diamond Preview for fillies over 1000m at this track on her way to scoring in this event and recent Blue Diamond Prelude Fillies winners have been Psychologist (2010) and Rostova (2009).
