The Blue Diamond Prelude Fillies is an 1100 race for two-year-old fillies that serves as a lead up race to the Gr1 Blue Diamond Stakes (1200m) that takes place in a fortnight at the same track.
The Fillies Prelude is held on the same day as the male version of the race, which is the Blue Diamond Prelude C&G, and Alinghi (2004) was the last filly to win this race and then the Blue Diamond Stakes. The race takes place on Gr1 CF Orr Stakes Day.
Psychologist (2010) won this race in easy fashion at his first race start and recent winners of the Blue Diamond Prelude for Fillies have been Rostova (2009), Believe'n'succeed (2008) and Camarilla in 2007.

2010 Blue Diamond Prelude Fillies: Psychologist (first starter) led easily and kicked rounding the turn before putting a space in them at the 200m mark to score a most emphatic win on debut.
